Meet our Boys Golf program's Head Coach, Coach Schuknect. “My road to being a teacher and coach at Shadow Hills High School took me across the nation and back. I was born and raised in Palm Desert and attended COD before moving on to Cal Poly, SLO where I earned my Bachelor’s of Science degree in Physical Education. Thankfully, while attending Cal Poly, I made a trip to Knoxville, Tennessee where I watched the UT Vols play the Georgia Bulldogs. It was this moment that I knew I needed to continue my education at the University of Georgia. A year later I was lucky to be accepted into the Master’s Program for Physical Education and earned my Master’s of Education degree two years later.”
“After graduating from the University of Georgia, I accepted a teaching job at Francis Hammond Middle School in Alexandria, VA.  Alexandria, VA is also home to TC Williams High School famous for the movie Remember the Titans. I spent 15 years in Alexandria, teaching physical education and coaching baseball.  After 15 years my wife and I made the decision to move home to California to be closer to our families and raise our kids here. I am beginning my 6th year at Shadow Hills High School where I have coached freshman baseball and currently coach the boy’s golf team.” – Coach Gregory Schuknecht, M.Ed
